Dr. Hossein Sarrafan
General Dentist
Dr. Sarrafan was born in Iran, where he went to school and also received his Dental Degree with Honours in 1994. He owned a private practice and taught at the University as a Clinical Instructor for several years before he and his family moved to Canada, which he now calls home.
Dr. Sarrafan graduated from UBC in 2007 and has over 16 years of experience in all aspects of Dentistry, with special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics and Oral Surgery. Dr. Sarrafan is also a member of DOCS (Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation).
Dr. Sarrafan likes to get to know his patients personally and give them the best, most individualized care possible.

Dr. Amir Najafi
General Dentist
Dr. Amir Najafi, General Dentist, earned his dental degree in 2003 from Shiraz University in Iran. Since then he is practicing all aspects of dentistry. In 2010, he completed a 4-year specialty program in Orthodontics in Shiraz University. Dr. Najafi has been committed to enhancing and expanding his expertise by participating in continuing education courses. These many years of experience have given him outstanding ability to provide high-quality dental care for his patients.
Dr. Felix Zhang
General Dentist
Dr. Zhang is a well-known expert in the field given both his extensive international education and his experience at Sierra Dental in Calgary, Alberta.
Dr. Zhang received his undergraduate and masters degree in dentistry and oral surgery in China, where he practiced as an oral surgeon for five years before moving to Canada. He continued his studies at UBC where he received his PhD in Oral Health Sciences (2000) as well as an additional degree at the University of Alberta in 2005! Grandview Corners Dental are thrilled about Dr. Zhang joining the team given his expertise in all aspects of dentistry, with special skills and interests in difficult extractions including wisdom teeth, implants, tissue grafts, gum surgery and root canal therapy.
Dr. Zhang is one of few dentists in the Lower Mainland certified to safely administer IV sedation to his patients who may require it. Along with the Grandview Corners Dental team Felix shares a strong belief in providing quality dentistry with a gentle touch.
Dr. Behdad Moslehi
General Dentist
Dr. Behdad Moslehi, a General Dentist, graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran in 1992. He completed his specialty program in Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy) at Tehran University in 1998. Since then, he has been working in all aspects of dentistry with a focus on Root Canal Therapy and restorative dentistry for more than 25 years. In Iran, he was working in his private dental office.
Dr. Moslehi successfully passed Canada's national dental examining board (NDEB) and achieved his board certification in 2016. He is proud to be a member of the college of dental surgeons of BC (CDSBC), the British Columbia dental association (BCDA) and the American Association of endodontists (AAE).
He is a well-experienced and caring dentist who has always strived to provide high-quality dental care for his patients.
Dr. Ali Aghiani
General Dentist
Dr. Ali Aghiani Graduated from Odessa State Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine. In 2008 he accomplished his Masters in Orthodontics and became a member of the Ukrainian Orthodontics Association.
Upon moving to Canada, Dr. Aghiani successfully passed Canada's national dental examining board (NDEB) and achieved his board certification to practice in Canada. He is proud to be a member of the college of dental surgeons of BC (CDSBC), the British Columbia dental association (BCDA) and the International Association of Dental Research - Orthodontics Branch (IADR ).
Dr. Aghiani thoroughly enjoys interacting with his patients and strives to provide them with the best dental care possible! He is passionate about Orthodontics and loves to help all of his patients achieve the smile of their dreams.
Dr. Fatemeh Mortazavi-Alavi
General Dentist
Dr. Fatemeh Mortazavi Alavi completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Concordia University and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from McGill University in 2020.
She started working as a General Dentist in Toronto in 2020 and eventually moved to Vancouver.
She is a member of the college of dental surgeons of BC (CDSBC) and the British Columbia dental association (BCDA).
She is fluent in English and Farsi.
Her dental philosophy is centered around quality care that relies on patient education, open communication. She enjoys working with all patients, especially kids, and uses her gentle personality to help ease dental anxiety.

She has completed her dental education in both India and Canada, earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Punjab, India, and a master's degree in Public Health from Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Saran has navigated the rigorous dental licensing process in Canada, demonstrating great skill and dedication. This achievement reflects her commitment to her professional journey and her desire to provide quality care to her patients.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Saran is a devoted wife and mother who values quality time with her family and fosters a nurturing, supportive home environment.
